Had it been anyone else other than Big Willy Style being a doomed do-gooder, I'd have been much more pleased with this movie. He did a bunch of not-so-bonerific movies in the years before this came out, and then he decided to do this and I Am Legend in the same year. What a dumb move to try and put him back in the spotlight by glorifying him in both. Why dumb? Nigga can't act! Put him out of context where he's not going "AWW!" or "DAYUM" or "Welcome to earf" and you have the snowcone in Phoenix effect. It just doesn't work. He'd have a better chance of winning over people's hearts if he did, "The Fresh Prince of Bel'Air: AFTER THE ARMAGGEDON" |
