The Skins pick up McNabb and give up the 37th overall pick plus a conditional pick in the 2011 draft. Things to consider: 1. Kevin Kolb is all wrong for the Eagles offense, and so is Mike Vick. On the flip side of that, who the hell does McNabb have to throw to in Washington besides Santana Moss? Fred Davis plays a lot like Brent Celek so Davis becomes an immediate fantasy interest. But other than that Washington has such a peicemeal offense that I'm really not sure how well they plan to produce with it. 2. The Skins are instantly out of the running in the Jimmy Clausen sweepstakes. You figure they've got to go with one of the big OT names left on the board. Either that or they finally find a replacement for Sean Taylor by taking Eric Berry. But then how far does Clausen fall? The Cheifs are heavily invested in Matt Cassel (lol), the Seahawks need a QB but they need O Line help way more. There is absolutely no way he gets past the Browns though. And fuck that because that team is destined to fail forever. 3. You'd better circle both the Eagles/Redskins matchups on your calendar because you better believe McNabb will be out to stick it up Andy Reid's ass. |

Philly wanted to make this happen one way or the other and they didn't want to be in the middle of a pissing match. Bills and Browns will be all over Clausen at some level of the first round. The Seahawks will probably grab CJ Spiller with that second first rounder. Also, Philly fans suck in general. Althought I have a guy that comes to my barbershop who is a philly native. Hahahaha I told him once that he's way too nice and reasonable to be a Philidelphia sports fan. He took it in stride. |
