And most death metal bands not only have similar names but sound alike. In my not-so-humble, it's a genre that hasn't advanced in nearly 20 years. I can count the number of new releases I'd listen to a second time rather than just play "Necroticism" or "Blessed Are The Sick" for the 2000th time on one hand and I'm stoked to hear bands plugging in the ol HM-2 and recapturing that rotten old vibe instead of buying into the ubertech sweep-arpeggio pissing contest the genre has become.
