I already have a 1/4" to 1/8" guitar cable; ARE THERE ANY FREE RECORDING SOFTWARE PROGRAMS I CAN DOWNLOAD??? Also, is it safe to record directly to your laptop w/a guitar w/o using some kind of mic setup? All I'm trying to do is record single tracks of a few songs so my drummer can import them into his iPod to practice to @ home between practices. You can plug directly into your laptop if you want. will sound like shit. You should use a hi to lo impedance converter at least of not some sort of direct box. You could use ampfarm or amplitube to re-amp your tracks later but i dont think those programs are free. Also use a metro gnome. |
