Putting together a death metal band of some sort. Here is our previous band: www.goryhole.com. after many failed attempts to find a guitarist on craigslist, we've come up with a list of minimal requirements: A functional guitar, 7 strings prefered but 6 works The ability to play technical death metal A loud rig, half stack minimum The ability to get yourself from wherever you live to our spot in Allston 2-3x a week Lots of riffs and overall song writing abilities Sorry if the ad is a bit dry, they are playing roadhouse riffs in here. Its tough man, I feel your pain. We've done some shows as a 3-piece (drums/guitar/vox) but I write material specifically for two guitars, and the lack of a bassist is never good for technical metal. Only once have we tried someone who could consistently play like a pro, and he couldn't commit due to scheduling issues. |
