i totally respect this band for what they're doing. granted 2 or 3 of them are pretty attractive, but that's not why i'm giving them a chance. they could go somewhere. i gotta listen to the song again, i didn't listen to it all the way this morning. one thing i noticed from the live pics though is they gotta move around though. bands that stand still on stage are BORING!!!!! how can you expect the crowd to get into your music if you're not into it yourself? seeing 5 girls on stage windmilling their asses off would be an amazing thing to see. a new form of porn lol

I agree with you man. I was reading a review thingy for a band, not realyl a review just like a sentence or 2 describing the band. It was like "Brutal/melodic black death with a female singer" Like really who gives a fuck if the singers a female!? That's just a lousy gimmick and a bad way of promotion. The only good bands that comes to mind with chicks in it anyways are Haemorrhage and Raising Kubrick. That's just my observation.

For me Matriarch was a big shock, specially when I saw them play at first time. This girls are very talent and they are so young. I give them an A+. But we know how difficult this group past all this time because in Puerto Rico guys are very sexist. Finally they bring us their style no matter what. Keep going you doing super!!!

This band matriarch I do not much care for. On an mp3 I listened to awhile back, there was a really annoying meandering keyboard thing, protypical riffs, and the operatic vocal got under my skin. I'd say thery are talented, but not my thing at all
