There drummer was WAY off on most of the parts... which when you can't hear ANY definition in the strings, you absolutely need the drums to be perfect. On the rare occasion that i could here some melody, it usually had dropped beats so that the drummer could catch up. Gorguts - holy backflipping christ dude! these guys were definitely the tightest, most tech band i've seen live ever. And yes, this was definitely the band for John L., he fit the band perfectly, he's got so much more to his drumming than just speed, and he used it all.
