| ______________________________ [May 31,2010 6:42pm - Lamp ""] I took this route to and from Hartford to drop my friends off so Rev and anybody else going up to MA or north, I'd recommend this route: When going on 91 south, get off at exit 17 to get on route 15. West Cross/Merritt parkways in Connecticut. No trucks allowed and it has significantly less traffic than 95. When you cross into New York, the road turns into the Hutchinson River Parkway, take this past 287 and get off at the exit for the Saw Mill Parkway going south. After getting on this highway, look for an exit for the Mosholu Parkway which pretty much ends right as it dumps you onto 87 south (going north the Mosholu Parkway isn't even part of the route, you just go straight from 87 to Saw Mill). Then take that south to 95, get on that exit and head south towards Trenton and you'll pretty much be right on the George Washington Bridge. This saved me a lot of time. |
