custom bass pickups?[views:3597][posts:3]__________________________________ [Jun 22,2010 10:07am - t2daeek ""] i'm trying to get a set of passive pickups made for a mildly narrow spaced 6 string bass. if anyone knows anyone that makes pickups or can hook me up with someone who does this let me know. i'm looking for either a pair of jazz bass style hum canceling PUs, a music man style humbucker, or a dimarzio (or dark star) mud bucker style pick up. the string spacing is 11/16" from one string core to the next. psyched... a friend chopped down two black walnut trees, and gave is giving me whatever i need to make a bass body for my fretless. not gonna have it built till i can get some PUs made though. gonna be a hollowbody. maybe a 335 style... with a 6 string rickenbacker headstock. any help that anyone has would be great. |
