I just posted this on a android forum.

I wish that google voice was better connected into android like gmail basically is and your gidentity.
I would like voicemails that I get to automatically get sent to my gvoice account.
I would like texts that I get to automatically get loaded into my gvoice account.

I would like google voicemails to automatically get sent to my phone.
I would like google texts to automatically get loaded into my phone.

so that it's all seemless and backed up, but content is auto-available on the phone and on my computer. How far off do you think this is?

I also want to be able to export/import to/from google voice like you can with gmail (really via imap/pop)

that stuff is all no-brainers. the only reason i can come up with as to why Google hasn't already done that stuff is the carriers. if it were all that streamlined the carriers would probably flip their shit when everyone started using zero minutes, zero texts and a shit load of data.
