One year, one of the carnies didn't lock the cage properly and started it up. The girl inside said cage was thrown out of it at the tippy top, bounced off of the cage below hers, then toppled on top of the unattentive ride attendant. Rumor has it she broke her collar bone, and arm, while he broke both of his legs. I think Doomkid knows who she is. The zipper was banned for a few years after that, but I'm sure it's back by now.
