| __________________________________ [Jul 23,2010 3:52am - Archaeon ""] I was so disgusted by the lyrics/vocals on this album that I just got out of my bed while I was listening to it so I could rant about it. The reason their old vocalist (Gab) was so perfect for the band was because he approached his lyrics/vocals like the other instruments in the band. The lyrics were intelligent and cryptic while the his vocals were sporadic and oddly technical. Which is what made this band so perfect. The vocal they have now basically is trying to be Jamey Jasta but with the occasional high screams. His rhythms are straight forward and his lyrics are garbage. The lyrics would be find if that was a tough guy hardcore bad, But they're not. The lyrics on this album are noticeably more terrible than the last album too. |
