I see some eyes reflecting on the side of the road, next thing I know a huge-ass bull moose comes charging out of the ditch right at my car. I swerved, laid on the horn and hence lived (is this WIN or FAIL?), but holy-fuck that woke me up. I worked a 12hr day in NJ and then drove 5 hours home to NH, so I'm surprised that I saw it. I was driving my faggot yuppie-mobile (not my redneck truck) so I'm pretty sure I would have been fucked 6 ways from Sunday. The weird part is that as soon as I hit that stretch of road, the idea of hitting a moose crossed my mind. Though I know there are miserable meeses in the area, I have never seen one running around in the road in the 7 years I've lived here. PREMONITIONS, maaaaaan... |
