Sounded really good except for the hi-hats, they sound really fake and not-sludge like mortician. oh, there was no clown this time. surmize: some sounded like cannibal corpse. I guess they had 2 guitarists so 1/2 the melodic parts where missing so they just sounded like groove-rock. the vocalist sounded a lot like skin-less. also, the hi-hats sounded a bit like the drum-machines. deaddeaddeath: major gear issues. when they finally did start playing, I don't think they were really into it. Maybe it was the technical issues. Hopefully people go to see them from this area when they tour. You can hang out with them and make fun of fat chicks. mucopus: pretty damn brutal. reminded me a lot of some of the stuff that old repulse (spain) label. the lead singer of held under gave a guest vocal shot. commit suicide: man, that singer's voice is like a bottom-less pit that you can throw bodies into. I haven't seen them for years so this was a treat. I didn't remember some of the "groovey" guitar parts. their bass player broke his wrist and couldn't play. clitorture: Iced earth might not have done gettysburg, but they did. At first the drums had something that was making a painfully loud noise, but it went away. on the way home, I listened to a metal show on 90.9FM http://wcdb.albany.edu/ some show called "Pure Musical Armageddon" http://169.226.122.155/WCDB/schedule.asp?Day=0&Genre=Metal/Hardcore I called to request something and the DJ shouted me out, even my website. |
