Need A Band For October 9[views:5861][posts:29]__________________________________ [Sep 10,2010 8:41am - ShadowSD ""] Looking for one more band to play with us on Saturday, October 9 at The Outdoor Pavilion in Windham, CT. Tentative line-up is currently: Suicide Dream Silent Mind Eyes of Wrath (unconfirmed) Parabellum Save The Day It would be a 25 minute set, all ages/21+ to drink. This is a killer venue: cheap drinks, herb friendly, incredible sound, and all band members eat for free (pizza w/various toppings provided by Mama's Pizza: pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, olive, onion, garlic - plus freshly grilled hot dogs on site). Also pays very well if you can draw (I don't expect a band from MA to draw anywhere near what the CT bands are being asked to, but we'd like someone who can still bring a couple heads to the show). | __________________________________ [Sep 16,2010 8:42am - ShadowSD ""] I've gotten a lot of possibles in the last few days but the slot is still not yet confirmed so any band who wants to grab it before now and 4 pm, please get in touch with me by then with a solid answer - first come, first serve. If no band confirms by then, the bill will be closed and it will be a four band show, as we can only wait so long before we send the person who designs the flyers all the information. Again, any band that takes this slot would be performing in front of a guaranteed good sized crowd (100+) as a result of being sandwiched between two big local draws as well going on ten minutes after all the food is served, so it is kind of a wasted opportunity if no one grabs it. |
