It's heavy and grooving, but the melodies are not there and really that is what I want from them bennyhillifier New Enslaved has more bite than what we've seen from them recently. | ___________________________________ [Sep 29,2010 2:05pm - arktouros ""] on first listen i really dig this, i may end up liking it better than vertebrae, and i love vertebrae. there's less pink floyd and faster, more aggressive parts overall. "giants" is a monster of a tune and probably one of their best mid-paced jams. aside from litterally abandoning blastbeats and adding shoegaze, psychadelic/floyd, clean vocal elements, enslaved really haven't changed much at all. much their riffs are almost interchangeable between every album. |
