I do have every album and alot of videos. I do have a shirt signed by the whole band. I think I have seen them just as many times as you, but honestly it is too many for me to remember right now. I have seen them in Florida, New jersey, rhode island (only mentioned because it was my first gwar show I ever went to on the we kill everything tour) and every time they have come to Massachusetts, (including that cramped ass show at pearl st in Northampton) since I was 15 years old and I am 27 now. I did once explain to Dave Brockie who Matt Frewer was while watching the dawn of the dead re-make on their tour bus (the same tour bus on which I saw Matt Maguire take some fat chick from cradle of filth back to his bunk), also hung out and drank with the band. I did have a very long conversation in person with Scott Krahl about why hunter Jackson is no longer in Gwar and how he ripped them all off. I do not have any swords or any stuff like that, but Gwar is also the reason that I got into metal. I have spent years listening to them and memorizing everything about them that I did have, and I pretty much have a encyclopedia of Gwar knowledge about everything they ever released in my head. That's I really have. Not so much concrete as it is something that I enjoyed ALONE for years with everybody I know making fun of me for it. That is why there really are no moderate Gwar fans dude. Except the people who just go and see them for the shock value. |
