Best women revenge film ever (Savage Streets a close second). Christina Lindberg is mind blowingly amazing and convincing as a innocent girl forced into becoming a helpless junkie/prostitute.. oh she's also drop dead gorgeous. Met her a few years back at Cinema Wasteland convention out in Ohio. First US appearance. She still looked great and I'm sure the massive line of dudes I waited in agreed. I would post traile/pics/ IMDB for those unfamiliar but I'm on my phone- will do later if nobody else has. Yep. Watching now. |

While I fully enjoy 'I Spit On Your Grave' it is just a little too campy/amateurish to really move me. 'Savage Streets' on the other hand has one of the most gut wrenching rape scenes in cinema. Despite the fact that Linnea Quigley was actually is actually OLDER than Linda Blair, she still looks like a 13 year old girl and that's effective/down right creepy. Also saw this movie screened with the director and a Q&A session at Cinema Wasteland- THEIR APRIL SHOWS ARE BY FAR THE BEST HORROR CONVENTION IN THE STATES |
