My family does that every year. We're German, though. So, we usually go through ridiculous amounts of alcohol, but everyone has such a high alcohol tolerance that no one gets very drunk.

Return of the beast!
Last night I mixed a six and am finishing the last beer now. It's a Newport Storm Rhode Island Blueberry beer and it's actually quite good. I've only been awake for about three hours, but I am already kicking a decent buzz as I started drinking the beer I didn't finish last night (which was a Brooklyn pale ale, should have known better as Brooklyn brewing company suuuuuuucks). I also have a bottle of egg nog I bought on a whim at the checkout counter last night but haven't touched it yet, should be yummy! There's also plenty of other beer to go around, my dad stocked up and got four cases since the party's here this year. Nothing special though. Will imbibe in a couple Hoegaardens, no doubt.
