I also have some 2'x4'x4" felt covered traps already put together and a bunch of felt and 2'x4' boards build more traps. Strap some 4-6" OC703 in your corners and rear wall and you'll get a much truer response in a less than perfect room. Check out NRC charts online for a better idea of what "sound foam" and rigid fiberglass actually absorb. Depending on what you want, I might drive to worcester. |
| ______________________________ [Jan 25,2011 6:12pm - Slag ""] I'm aware of the capabilities OC703. I've yet to try it. I have some dense 2'x'1 Auralex traps in my monitoring room... they work ok... I monitor at really low levels, so it effects me very little.... but I definitely have an issue at higher levels. Does BOTG have any shows coming up soon? Would want to make it as easy for you as possible. |
