| _____________________________________ [Feb 17,2011 12:19pm - arilliusbm ""] we had a submission for Great Scott a few years back and the first question the underwriters were asking was if there were mosh pits... basically any venue/bar that books metal shows are taking risks. the insurance companies do not like mosh pits, or anything else associated with a potential risk which could lead to injury, rape, or DUIs. It's a shame... I wish there were more good venues willing to take risks. It's hard to find places like Obrien's that are usually laid back about that kind of stuff. Regardless, best of luck Rich.. may you find a bar/venue that suits your needs without overstepping boundaries with security measures, etc. |
