A lot of tribes the tribes who are considered "uncontacted" still manage to trade for iron and steel tools that they have no way of making themselves. Then again, we were supplying them with goods and food. Ultimately, uncivilized tribes aren't sure what they're looking at, which over time can be translated into myth and legend. |
