Uncontacted can just mean they've had no direct contact with Westerners/modern culture. A lot of tribes the tribes who are considered "uncontacted" still manage to trade for iron and steel tools that they have no way of making themselves. There's really no way any group of people in the world can be completely cut off from the rest in this age.

I hope they realize that by exposing such technology more than once to these tribes that it will most likely result in them worshiping the aircraft as a god of some sort, good or bad.
It happened in the 50s-70s (maybe still some today) in the Pacific with WWII Planes being worshiped as gods after we left the temporary bases we built in the Pacific Islands. Then again, we were supplying them with goods and food. Ultimately, uncivilized tribes aren't sure what they're looking at, which over time can be translated into myth and legend.
