It was a great show. Sexcrement killed it. They should have played a song or two more and they were my girlfriend's favorite band of the night. Abysmal Dawn was tight although a little boring after a while. Pretty sure their vocalist does inhales. Vital Remains was awesome. Very pumped I got to see them. I met Tony and he's actually a nice guy, even signed the DVD of theirs I bought off him. A couple of sound issues with the drummer, he was off time a few times but other than that, great set. Origin was my favorite of the night. They are easily one of the best live metal bands I've ever seen. Everything was flawless and Jayson is still a funny bastard. All the vocals sounded great from all three of them. John sounded monstrous. They played more from Antithesis than anything else and I would have preferred to hear more of the new album live. Regardless, they were spot on. Hate Eternal was great even though the crowd thinned out a little. I think Erik's vocals sound better live than on record. He had one guitar issue but recovered quickly and kept the song alive. New stuff sounded good. They played a couple tracks from I, Monarch which I appreciated. I like that album. I didn't stay for the whole set however, I had like an almost 2 hour drive home.
