3D printing, Shapeways, etc[views:1558][posts:3]___________________________________ [Mar 9,2011 3:55pm - Alx_Casket ""] Every so often my creative bone is tickled in a non-musical way, and today it prompted me to google for cheap 3D printing. Well, this is what prompted me: http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/09/eadss-a...d-nylon-bicycle-actually-looks-rat/ but I have been reading about 3D printing for a while now, and find it fascinating. Searching led me to http://www.shapeways.com and now I am interested in getting back into a CAD or 3D program to start making my own art. Has anyone had any experience with 3D printers or Shapeways.com? Are there better alternatives online or in the local Boston area that you know of? And if you've done 3D printing before, what program did you use? |
