Without a doubt the most all around succesful gig I've ever booked, touring bands got paid extra, smooth change overs, great sound, blah blah blah. Honestly, whole heartedly no bullshit, unbiased, "keeping them honest" answer is that Forteresse was probably the best Black Metal band I've ever seen. Far and away the greatest set I've ever witnessed at Oasis. Hard to match the trance the crowd went into. The blaring deluge of reverbed guitar. The pulse and passion of a nation despite not being a polished major label euro band. FUCKING AMAZING. Monsieur Noktu is a gentleman and a scholar. Anyone who plays peggle in my house and rides on my backyard swing is about as far removed as a fascist as you can get. |
