Anyone have experience with Wordpress blogs?[views:1853][posts:11]________________________________ [Mar 17,2011 1:48pm - xmikex ""] In the least I'd like to put my own header on an existing Wordpress theme. At the very most I'd want to (most likely have someone else) design a custom theme. Do I need to purchase the Custom CSS upgrade? How difficult is it for someone with very little CSS experience to slap a custom header image on a blog? I started making the header and planned it at 1024 pixels wide. Any thoughts otherwise? |

________________________________ [Mar 17,2011 6:12pm - xmikex ""] at an early glance it seems a lot more advanced, and and more polished. the interface is a mindfuck at first though. I'm asking Google how to do every little thing. |

More options, make sure your hosting is solid because you're hosting it yourself. xmikex: I like it a lot. It's very flexible; downside is it's PHP code, which has its ups and downs but is really slow, mostly. However, with good hosting it's not a problem. Pick a basic template and mod it to fit your needs. Install a cache and Akismet too. then you're rockin' |
