Thousands of people were involved; a few dozen died, sure. That's normal for NOLA, which is third world like darkest Mexico.

Further, the real story is that BP is doing exactly what fucking Exxon did with the Valdez -- employing legal delaying tactics to ensure that, in 21 years when the actual court date that sets the payment amount hits, they will have made profit TEN TIMES OVER on the INTEREST they did not pay on the fine.
