That said, without a certain amount of money to promote with, it's hard to effectively promote, without someone somewhere helping with promotion. We are a very small charity, with a very small budget, so funds are limited, for every single thing we need to put these shows on. All that said, if anybody has any suggestions about how to better promote, I'm all ears - because I am by no means a promoter - never have been. Also, I've been listening to people's shit for the past 5 years we've been doing these shows, and I'm just now starting to get tired of it, so if I flip out once every five years oh well. ArrowHeadNLI - I don't need you, but whatever you need to tell yourself is fine. Not for nothing, as much as it sucks to say it, the metal shows are the worst drawing shows we've done - so I really don't need you. Also, just a P.S. to Sacreligion - we had 6 bands that day, and 4 people showed up, so I'm not sure how that happens but I'm sure it's not all my fault, and it's not yours either, as I remember you did what you could to help promote it. All that said, can anybody tell me how to delete my posts? Because I don't see that option here - that and the fact that you can't block or delete someone else's comments on your post are two of the major problems with this site. Either way, I'll be off here for good - you guys can have your playground back. |
