Sometimes the kick drum sound bothers me but I'm splitting hairs here. Guitars sound like what you'd expect from Blue. I can hear a lot of what Will has to say, which is refreshing since there is a concept to the album, I'm guessing. It's gonna be a great release that will earn the band the respect that it deserves. That said, it does sound like a 'new band' imho (not a bad thing). A departure from the more slam laiden, spontaneous, nydm style into more straightforward, consistent punishment, with more core elements. This is a whole other band live. Always been that way. |
