It's not like there is anything you can do with fingers you can't do with a pick or vice versa (aside from slap obviously). It's a matter of tone. Some people prefer one or the other. If Mike and the other dudes in OR prefer to get a bassist who plays with his fingers that is their prerogative since it is their band. I think either one would sound good it the context of this band. It doesn't matter much to me anyways. I was just offering my assistance. |

What I was saying was that I hadn't actually tried learning anything yet. The point being that I wasn't sure if I could learn everything in the time between now and their next show.
