During one of the last Hirudinea songs he was in the back of the room and decided he wanted to leave. So he went up to the front of the crowd, thought better of walking through the floor with everyone moving around, then went up on the mini-stage, behind Mike, slowly sidled his way across the drums, and turned around to see the whole room wondering what he was doing and gave a casual 'scuuuse me movement and walked off the stage and out of the room. |

Vestiges insane gear overpowered the practice space they played in, and ultimately after two failed attempts they had to plug half the gear into outlets in another room. Once they started playing they were solid. More than "crusty black metal" they reminded me of "post hardcore" with some "black metal" riffs. I dug it though. Full of Hell were kind of silly, mostly entertaining. Singer's antics weren't my cup of tea, and seemed out of place for the sound, but whatever, they were decent. Would much rather have been at the Boston show. |
