They've omitted bands for idiotic reasons. The whole site is a penis pulling contest amongst those with high enough points to make decisions. I love the site, but it irks me to no end when people use it as a basis of a band being "metal" or not, purely based of the sole reason of a band being present in it's database. Subjective selectivity is subjective, and downright idiotic considering most of the people that run it are real-life padawans. I'm not talking about Wren here, just the general population of the site. It's full of great admins and knowledgable people, but has become the go-to site for people making opinions on bands. They have back ups for the headliners, but if any of the other bands drop off they just move up the start time. Its stupid for them not to have too many bands. |
