I will not be able to get a full time job if I have to call out like once a week because of a show or something. (im talking about a 9-5 type of job... no night bullshit) 2. I suck at bass. I am completely unhappy with my playing abilty and I need to strip everything about my playing down and start from the basics again. picking up sight reading, theory, arpeggios, and all that good stuff that no one cares about in extreme metal. I don't think of myself as a real bass player and it makes me feel like shit. 3. I feel like shit about my current state of being. Being jobless, not being a good musician, not going to school, and sitting on my ass all the time is depressing. I have no drive to do much of anything most of the time. such as driving for about an hour by myself, going to far places to suck at my instrument in front of people, or even do anything. Im poor and I have a lot of nothing to spend on everything and i really cant fund getting a new bass, new cab, trips half way across the country, and all that shit. that also makes me feel like shit. so i need to get my shit straight and not having to worry about half of the things that make me feel like hell is a good start. i have been thinking about it for a couple months and it was hard. ii know they might be disappointed by it, but hey, i really need this and im sorry if it fucks anything up. |
