| _____________________________________ [Jun 4,2004 2:25am - the_reverend ""] reason to fight: I love when I realize what a band sounds like and then notice that a member is wear that band's shirt. this band sounded a lot like the bruisers. they had someone come up on the stage and sing a side by side song. doosh bags: the name is completely fitting. their lyrics were pretty douche-baggy. they sang such funny things. stuff about pussy, getting pussy, this dicks, and pissing on girls. you know the important things in life. they sounded a bit like the ducky boys, but also a lot like the bruisers. since the flood: man! these guys just got back from a month of touring. I was so looking forward to this set. for the most part, they were amazing. what wasn't amazing was a fight breaking out during their set, people pants falling down... bottles thrown... people carried outside.. and death threats. STF got shut down afte a couple songs, but then the show was allowed to go on and finish their set. I was by luke at the end of their set. he was doing some pretty crazy blasts. oh, and kevin leary was on guitar. However, after 100 demons was 1/2 set up, the show was cancelled. I really had no clue why, but after waiting 15-20 minutes, hearing about gun-violence, I bolted (leaving behind a battery charger accidentally but thankfully daveSTF grabbed it for me). So that means blood for blood, 100 demons, and rag men didn't get to play. I was fairly pissed off since providence is 2 hours from my house. |

Hopefully they will come back soon, but it sounded like it will be with the Duckey Boys & the Unseen. I wanted to see Ragmen pretty bad too. Except for hanging with the BFB boys last night was a total waste. It was cool because I hadnt seen them since I did sound for them and Slapshot on the European tour last year. Fuck fights that shut down shows early! Oh well, better luck next time I guess. |
