Miller Published: Friday, August 15, 2008 at 12:02 p.m. Last Modified: Friday, August 15, 2008 at 12:05 p.m. OCALA - A 16-year-old girl was arrested Thursday on four counts of sexual battery involving her 6-year-old brother. Marion County sheriff’s officials say she made the boy perform a sex act on her as part of an ongoing sexual relationship. Detectives are also investigating another sex case involving the teen, who is home-schooled in southwest Marion County. In that case, they are looking into a report that the girl met a man online two months ago and that, on Aug. 12, he visited her and they had sex. The teen told her father about the encounter, and he called deputies. Investigators were still working the case. As for Thursday’s arrest, the 6-year-old told a sheriff’s deputy the girl told him to perform the sex act on her. The boy said the act occurred twice Thursday and had been happening a lot for the past year. The girl told Detective Miriam Diaz that she made the boy perform the act on her on Thursday and on three other occasions during the past two months. She also said it had been on-going. [img] |
