I love the mix of rhythms but always feel the need for melodies, produced from wind instruments, to sail above it all. Do you play a reed instrument? Do you play a bamboo flute, a silver flute, an ocarina? Can you improvise? Hopefully you can play a hand-drum too. Starting this Thursday, November 10, between 5 or 6:pm, we will dine on simple snacks everyone will bring, and then jam at least until 9 or 10. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner, and kids are welcome too----as long as they intend on joining the festivities. There's room for your car and we can make as much joyous noise as we want without disturbing anyone. I will record the results, edit the best parts, and make it possible to share it in the form of mp3's or a CD. If it all goes according to plan we will do it on a monthly basis.
