Without drawing such attention to it, it's simply a piece of school history. Porn on the wall violates indecency/obscenity laws, not a constitutional right to free choice of religion. I could also object that any history book with reference to roman catholic expansion, or any art class featuring religious works, is just as offensive as this hanging non-denominational "prayer" was.
