Not really a "metal" scene though. Doom, punk, grind, crust, noise. electronic, hardore, black metal etc. If you are looking for death metal, traditional metal or pizza thrash you are shit out of luck. The only reason I even know of this band's existence is because for reasons completely unknown to me that I'll probably never understand, they get a lot of support from the Riotous Outburst kids. Oh well. Oh yeah, and the fact that the drummer of this band is a kid I went to high school with who did a complete 180 in personality/beliefs... in the earlier years of HS, he actually used to be quite hateful and racist, especially bizarre when you take into account he's a Venezuelan immigrant. |
