I think they have varied their sound reasonably enough while staying within their blueprint - look at the difference between Land and By the Light of the Northern Star for instance. They clearly had their minds at one end of the spectrum for Land and went the other way for By the Light while still being Tyr. Only seen them live once and thought they were fine, but read some differing opinions of same show (from fans and critics). |
