Sevared Records/United Underground records are a true-to-their-roots, no fucking around death metal label and distro with a roster full of extreme bands from all over the world, and we are amped to working with Sevared and our label mates throughout the year on the upcoming release. Is it a matter of not wanting to be away from home very long or are fans of this kind of music who aren't too lazy to book shows really spread that thin? 1. strong scenes for brutal death metal in the US are few and far between. usually resulting in shitty drives to get to the next good area. i avoid the midwest like the plague, which means 4 days of driving 12 hours in a row usually. 2. the ability to coordinate more than 2 weeks off at a time for 5 people with conflicting work schedules is harder than you think. its a rarity when i can get one of my bands to all be able to go out for 3 weeks. |
