At first you'll be like 'fuck this, it's nowhere near as heavy as holy mountain' but then you'll realize that the heaviness on HM just covers up the fact that the songs aren't really that good, because the song writing on Volume One is definitely a step up, even though it came first. |

The song writing isn't necessarily better on Volume One, and a more accurate description would be that the less-than-heavy production on that album reveals just how boring the songs Sleep writes actually are without that overbearing production. |
