There is some serious bullshit afoot. I don't want to get into detail about it for legal reasons, but there is this guy from western MA trying his damnedest to steal our band name from us and it is total horseshit. It would be great to continue to thoroughly establish our use of the name and to continue to spread around our album in the meantime. Check out our bandcamp page, download the album for free and spread it around to whoever the fuck you want. Like us on facebook if that is still a thing. Tumble that shit on tumblr, cause I heard that shit is good. Tweet that shit if you use the twitter. Get it out there if you like it and want to keeps us in our rightful place. I honestly can't even comprehend why a band would try to do this to another band. Thanks to any of you who support us.

Does this other band have any recorded music or play shows? I remember hearing about this a while back from John and going looking for their stuff. Needless to say I couldn't find it anywhere.
If I had to make a prediction I'd say it'll all be a moot point eventually anyways as they'll go the usual route of western mass hardcore bands:
*Play whatever the 2012 answer to Fat Cats is every weekend without anyone ever getting sick of it
*Sign with a lower tier label
*Fail on tour as they realize that 50 of their friends aren't coming to every single show and no one else wants to see them
*Get dropped by aforementioned label when un-sellability of unoriginal band becomes apparent
*Play reunion show at whatever the 2018 answer to Fat Cats is.
*Profit.
Unless the other Dick Move is waaaay better. Which again... where's the material?

I'm the guy you are talking about. I trademarked the name and had the music recorded long before you had a bandcamp that you posted in june. Rather than respond to my emails (which i was very polite to you) you go and post this. Our first show is november 2nd with Death Before Dishonor, Death Threat and others in Chicopee, ma. I'm also in the band Death Before Dishonor and we will be leaving for a European tour this sunday, so I won't really be able to have some sorta internet battle over this. I honestly do not know what to make of this....
I back this Colin character for the mere fact that I heard about his version of Dick Move well before this other persons version came out, but I do understand his frustration in having to deal with the fact that there is another Dick Move out there (that is probably greater).
I think the deciding factor for me is that the Dick Move(from Boston) is probably a Wiggercore ban and we all know wiggers must hang.

#2. The fact that John Gamble recorded it is the #1 selling point. John fucking rules but I only recognize his work when it's about not being able to find a basketball or having to take a shit.
