Truth is always refreshing, regardless of the source, especially on the diet of lies we are used to here. Also, there's the simple fact that Al Jazeera is an international mainstream media organ, which is distinctly a different phenomenon than a U.S. mainstream media organ. The standards of "journalism" in this country are so corrupted and meaningless, that virtually any professional foreign outlet, whether the BBC, AJ, Asia Times, or whomever will seem infinitely more intelligent in approach than even the better U.S. outlets like CNN and the NYT. It's simply a higher quality product. But hey, what do I know, I voted for Jill Stein. |
