Of course, some people just can't get high enough, like in the case of that dude Paul from Slipknot, who was legally prescribed both morphine and fentanyl, and then overdosed. I don't know what kind of pain you'd have to be in, in order to be prescribed two of the most powerful analgesics, aside from terminal cancer or something. I believe his pain management doc was charged with involuntary manslaughter for recklessly scripting him those two medications, on top of several more charges brought against him for scripting his other patients in a similar fashion. |
