This comes out tomorrow. I'm fucking picking this up. People who didn't like them before, I have to say this CD surpases being called "metalcore". More like In Flames meets Fear Factory.

it's exactly what I expected it to be.
super quality producing, lots of chugs.

take the last ep and just progress it forward like inflames progress forward or beyond the embrace and there you have it.
personally, I think it's a great cd so far. they have some re-hashed riffs and stuff, but it works.

don't forget the insane amounts of sweep picking.

not to mention half the douchebags that like this band also like indie rock and emo.

I definitely somewhat disagree with the generic breakdowns thing. Definitely not a generic hardcore or metalcore breakdown. To be the breakdowns sound more like fear factory and I'm a fan of them.

And as for douche bags liking them, so what? a big chunk of dimmu borgir fans are nu-metal faggarios and i know there is a huge list of people on here who like them. good music is good music. who cares about the fanbase?

yeah, as long as they aren't transgendered or irish, it's all cool to me.

i'm done w/ the cd now. it's ok, his voice sounds a little more hoarse though and on the redo of endless the high vocals sound really weird and fake.

this is coming from a kid who lives in whitman. if a kid from the whitman hanson area doesnt love it, then i wouldnt hold much hope for the rest of the world. cuz everyone knows that WH loves unearth.

I just picked it up. I think it's a good CD, but I hate the production. Fuck digital audio. It sucks and sounds like a fucking square wave. There are no dynamics on this CD what-so-ever. The song writing I do like. As I've said In Flames with Fear Factory breakdowns. You can't beat an $8 CD either.

I also found a copy of Candiria - Beyond a Reasonable Doubt at Newbury Comics today. I now own all the candiria material besides the demo.
