| ________________________________________ [Jul 2,2004 11:28am - Josh_hates_you ""] i like science more than make yourself it was more expiremental and funky. make yourself was good too. jose pascillas is a very intelligent drummer with great off beat timing that somehow keeps the flow of the song(verse from pardon me for example). i thought morning viex was just ok, not to take away from the muscicianship but the whole sound/vibe of the album seems like it was rushed and not as well thought out as previous efforts from what i have heard of "a crow left of the murder" they are bringing bach the song writing with a more straight up rock feel. while i have not heard the whole cd i do have the drum transcriptions which make me curious to how some of those beats flow within the songs. |
