""] "Brandy" heavily samples Iron Maiden's The Clansman on her latest single, "I Tried". Not only does she "sample" a riff, but she steals the entire main bass and guitar from the original recording as well as the vocal melody. If you want to hear it yourself go to www.foreverbrandy.com click the picture, then switch tracks until you come across "I tried". (If you're wondering how I know this, I saw a post first reporting this on Iron Maiden's Official Forums.) Nowhere can I find a writing credit to Steve Harris or Iron Maiden. If any member of Iron Maiden or their management gave permission to use their music in the latest mainstream hip hop single, then the True Metal world has some serious problems as Maiden are one the greatest Metal bands of all time. If she exploited The Clansman and stole the music then True Metal followers everywhere need to join together in condemning Brandy for theft of Maiden's music. These no-talent lame fucks need to stop stealing other artist's material and write their own damn songs! |
