On track 2 so far, I like what I hear, I can tell this is gonna need a lot more listens for me to fully digest it and compare it to the other album. I am gonna have to listen to this again tomorrow sober, for a better review of this album. Like em or hate them, they serve their purpose musically, could they do more, yes, but since when is more better? I have had the viewpoint less is better, restraint, not giving you what you fully want, teasing you with it. Just like sex their is different ways to be fucked and enjoyed, take it for what you will, love it or hate it, they are here. Track 5 now fuck... | ____________________________________ [Apr 17,2013 9:38pm - MotleyGrue ""] Several things, first I am still digesting this album fully, before I can give it an honest review, this album needs a few listens, and needs to be heard on your system for full effect. Goatriders faggetry is in question since you brought it up yourself, and currently band wise no one can beat the Devils Blood, shame they broke up. But still Ghost B.C. is still cool, this is a darker album less popish to a degree. Year Zero song kicks ass and stands out the most, but the more you listen to the album as a whole it gets better. Now that all the fucking hipsters have abandoned this band, I can enjoy them more. Every album has to be different, as usually bands grow, I don't want the same Ghost album, I want something different to feast upon. Like I said could they do more, fuck yes, but they hold back with restraint and give you just enough. BOC song always kicks ass, been awhile since I heard the nosferatu song, fuck yes thanks for posting it, similar indeed can't disagree. I don't have to say shit about Uriah Heep FTW with their music. But whether we like them or not, Ghost B.C. exists and has their own niche, love em, hate em they are scratching an itch musically I didn't know I had. Will I buy their albums in different colors, fuck no, but they do it for me and that's all I can ask as a lover of music. I am not gonna wave the Ghost banner, but to each their own, good music is good music, and different things turn us all on. bennyhillifier |
