They were one of the bands I was most excited about, but their set sucked. One of the guitar amps sounded like it was putting out a lot of ground loop noise, and the guitarist plugged into said amp fucked up every song, to the point where he stopped playing for a few seconds to see what the other guitarist was doing. The drummer fucked up a song and they stopped playing it completely for about 10 seconds, went back into it, then the drummer fucked it up again. To top it off, the mix sucked. All I could hear was bass, vocals, and amp noise. Seeing Iniquity live is better than not seeing them, but that was bittersweet given how shitty they were. I was also bummed that they played nothing from Grime and only one song from 5 Across The Eyes. No merch either. |

I was so disappointed with Iniquity's set and I was really looking forward to seeing them too. Biggest letdown of the weekend for me, aside from the shitty security fuckheads. I heard absolutely no snare or ride at all and the toms and kick were soooo fucking loud. I tried powering through and watching their whole set but i had to walk away it was that bad. And then Broken Hope on that same stage after them sounded amazing. Full and thick with a good mix. That stage and the tent stage were definitely hit and miss sound wise. |

Why? IDK something to do with security for Down, or Phil. PITA couldn't get out of backstage area and no one could get in or go anywhere near one side at all. They wouldn't even let anyone stand by the back of the stage. Most people had to stay behind stage 2 until it was deemed ok about 30 seconds before Down. |
