I also preferred the metal mount (better build quality, didn't want to deal with the 50mm sticking to the camera that I've read a lot of people experience) and the STM for quieter focus. Plus, I don't have a huge bokeh boner, so the 1 stop didn't make a difference to me. Also focuses closer than the 50mm. I have gotten bags for $40 off there in perfect condition just so I could see if I liked it before I spent 100's. |
